Why Kahramanmaraş?

Kahramanmaraş (often just called Maraş) is an often underestimated but gigantic industrial location in southern Turkey. The city is the absolute center of Turkish yarn and textile production – nearly a third of all Turkish yarn production comes from factories in this region, making it indispensable for global fashion brands. Another massive pillar is metal processing: Kahramanmaraş produces a vast majority of stainless steel kitchenware (like pots and pans) for the domestic and international markets. This is complemented by a booming food industry, driven by the world-famous Maraş ice cream, which is industrially produced and exported globally. The region is investing heavily in new technologies and modern industrial parks, creating an extremely high demand for engineers, plant managers, and technicians.
